Talk me into moving to North York - need reasons!

I'm considering a move to North York, where I found a nice 1BR for $2100, but I'm torn. I love the idea of being near Line 1, but I'm used to Downtown's energy and amenities. I value quick TTC access for work but wonder if I’ll miss the buzz of the city. Help me weigh the pros and cons!
