1 Marquette Ave seems hidden, but what's the walking scene like?

I just came across 1 Marquette Ave and it looks like a small building. I love being able to walk to local shops and cafes. Can anyone share if there are good amenities nearby? Also, how's the TTC access from this spot? Trying to get a feel for the area!
