Living near 540 Sherbourne St: is it good for transit to downtown jobs?

I'm considering moving to 540 Sherbourne St and relying on transit for my job in the financial district. How easy is it to catch the subway or streetcar from there? Also, are there good bike lanes for cycling down to downtown? Curious about walkability for errands too!
