Living at 200 Wellesley St E and transit to downtown hospitals

Hi all! I'm looking at 200 Wellesley St E for my studies and need to know how easy it is to get to downtown hospitals via TTC. Are streetcars frequent, and is the subway close by? Would love to hear about your experiences commuting in that area!
