55 Charles St E transit vibes for getting to campus or downtown

Thinking about moving to 55 Charles St E and curious about how quick it is to get to U of T by TTC. Also, are there good bike lanes nearby for those sunny days? I want to make sure I can get around easily without a car, especially during rush hours!
