Landlord insists on baked goods for rent - is this normal?

My landlord asked me to drop off freshly baked cookies with my rent check. At first, I thought it was a quirky joke, but it’s become a monthly tradition! I’m not sure if I should be flattered or concerned. Is this weird or am I the weird one for actually enjoying it?
