Is $2800 reasonable for a 1BR in King West? Market feels crazy right now

Looking at a 1BR in King West for $2800/month. It's a newer building with gym and concierge but no parking included. The unit is around 550 sq ft. I know the market is insane but this feels steep even for downtown. What are you all paying for similar places? Should I keep looking or is this just the reality now? Coming from Vancouver so thought Toronto might be cheaper but not seeing it...
