Just got outbid again – this is exhausting!

I can't believe it, but I've just lost out on another two-bedroom. Someone offered $300 over asking! How are people even affording to do this? It feels like I'm in a bidding war every time I find a place I like. Anyone else feeling this stress? What’s your strategy to stand out?
