Just saw 1609 Queen St W and curious about the street's energy

I’m looking for a studio and 1609 Queen St W caught my eye. Is the Queen Streetcar reliable and how easy is it to get to parks or cafes nearby? I hear this area has a lot of local spots, but how walkable are things? Any good food or shops in the immediate vicinity?
