Upstairs neighbor sounds like they're bowling at 3am - advice needed

Every night, my upstairs neighbor stomps around like they're moving furniture or bowling at 3am. I'm losing sleep and need to find a way to address this without causing drama. How do you deal with noisy neighbors? Am I being unreasonable to ask them to keep it down?
