107 Redpath Ave - how's transit for getting to downtown hospitals?

Looking at 107 Redpath Ave for a possible rental. I’m working at St. Mike’s and need to know how quick the TTC gets downtown from here. Is it easy to catch a streetcar or bus nearby? Also, any good bike lanes around for a quick pedal on days I don’t want to ride the subway?
