Confused about breaking my lease early in Toronto

I’m really frustrated with my landlord and the broken heating in my unit that has been ignored for weeks! Can I break my lease early due to this issue? What are my rights as a tenant in Ontario regarding lease termination under these circumstances? I need to know how to handle this so I can move on.
