Is living at 26 Sloane Ave good for getting to downtown easily?

I'm looking into 26 Sloane Ave and need to know how easy it is to catch the TTC from there. I work downtown and want to figure out if it's a quick trip to Union Station via subway or streetcar. Can I bike safely to transit stops, or are there bike lanes nearby? Thanks!
