Is 6010 Bathurst St good for transit to downtown and pet-friendly parks?

I'm curious if living at 6010 Bathurst St makes sense for getting downtown via TTC. What’s the bus/subway frequency like during rush hour? Also, are there nearby parks that are good for my dog? Any bike lanes for easy commuting? Would love input from fellow transit users!
