11 Shallmar Blvd: how easy is it to get downtown via TTC?

I'm considering moving to 11 Shallmar Blvd and want to know how the TTC options are for getting into downtown Toronto. Is it a quick hop to the subway or streetcar? Also, how's the walkability for grabbing groceries or heading to local cafes? Any insights on bike lanes would be great too!
