Is Spending 60% of My Income on Rent Normal in Toronto?

I'm seriously worried about my finances lately. I'm spending around 60-70% of my income on rent, and I can't help but wonder if this is the new normal in Toronto. How do others manage? It feels unsustainable when rent is eating my paycheck. Am I alone in this struggle?
