Living near 4340 Bloor St W — how’s the commute to downtown?

I'm checking out 4340 Bloor St W and wondering how easy it is to get to downtown. Is the subway close? I’m also curious about bike lanes around here and if it's a quick trip to Union Station. Any tips for getting around without a car would be great!
