Considering 99 davisville ave for the nearby parks and transit options

I've been eyeing 99 Davisville Ave because it seems close to some lovely parks and has great transit access. Does anyone know if it's easy to get around the area on foot? I'm looking to downsize but still want that local feel and accessibility to grocery stores and cafes.
