Are these deposit requests even legal in Toronto?

I've encountered landlords asking for multiple deposits—damage, pet, key, and even some extra fees that seem downright shady. Are they allowed to charge for these things? I'm unsure and skeptical if these demands align with Canadian rental laws. Can anyone clarify this?
