Is it time to leave Toronto due to soaring housing costs?

I'm really conflicted about staying in Toronto. The housing crisis has hit hard, and I can't afford the rents anymore. I'm considering moving to a cheaper city, but is it worth giving up on everything this city offers? Anyone else feeling like they might have to leave soon?
