Commuting to downtown from 1555 Birchmount Rd — is it smooth?

I'm looking at 1555 Birchmount Rd for my new place. How's the TTC here for a quick trip into downtown? I rely on the subway and want to know about bus connections and any bike lanes for warmer months. Any insights on rush hour frequency would be super helpful!
