Is 55 lisgar st good for commuting downtown via ttc and cycling?

I'm considering moving to 55 Lisgar St and want to know how easy it is to commute downtown. Are there decent bike lanes nearby or is it mostly streetcar and subway accessible? Any tips on transit schedules or routes that might help? Thanks!
