Curious about the scene at 1182 Queen St W and nearby spots

I’ve been eyeing 1182 Queen St W and love the look of the area! Can anyone share what it’s like around there, especially with transit and local eateries? Are there any grocery stores within walking distance? Just want to soak in the local character a bit more.
