Concerned about special assessment and my rental situation

I’ve heard there’s a special assessment coming for my condo, and I’m really worried about how it might impact my rent. Do renters typically pay these assessments, or could I face a rent increase because of it? I'm even contemplating leaving due to potential condo fees going up. Anyone have insights?
