Questions about Toronto's affordable housing waitlist

Hi everyone! I'm looking to get on the affordable housing waitlist in Toronto but I'm unsure about the application process. I've heard wait times can span years, which is disheartening. Is it even worth applying to Toronto Community Housing? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
