10 Gower St: transit options for downtown work or school commutes

Thinking about renting at 10 Gower St and fully relying on transit. How's the access to the subway or streetcar for getting downtown for work? Also, any thoughts on biking around here? Really hoping to bike or take transit easily for daily errands!
