Considering 30 hillsboro ave for a studio, but what's on the corner?

I’m looking at 30 Hillsboro Ave for a studio, but I keep wondering what’s right on that corner. Is there a good cafe or grocery store nearby? Also, how easy is it to get around via TTC? I'm hoping to stay in a walkable area with plenty of local spots.
