291 george st: is it great for daily trips downtown by TTC?

Just finished school and starting my new job downtown. How's the TTC from 291 George St? I’m curious about subway and streetcar options for quick commutes and if there are good bike lanes nearby for weekend rides. Any tips on navigating early mornings or late nights would be awesome too!
