Thinking about 24 Shallmar Blvd for downtown commute and transit access

I'm looking into 24 Shallmar Blvd and want to know how easy it is to get downtown using the TTC. Are there good streetcar or bus options nearby? Also, I'd love to hear about bike lanes in the area—any tips for cycling to work? Thanks!
