215 Markham Rd looks interesting, what’s nearby for dogs?

I’m checking out 215 Markham Rd and need to know if there are good parks nearby for my pup. Also, how’s the transit access in the area? I noticed a couple of bus stops on Google Maps, but curious if it's easy to hop on the TTC from there. Local pet-friendly spots would be a bonus!
