650 Briar Hill Ave and the nearby parks – any hidden gems?

Looking at 650 Briar Hill Ave, I’m curious about the nearby parks and green spaces. I love being able to escape city life without traveling far. Is there a good mix of locals around, and how accessible is TTC from there for weekend adventures?
