Landlord wants to enter weekly for 'inspections' - is this legal?

My landlord has been dropping by every week for 'inspections' and says it's to check on maintenance. I’m feeling uncomfortable with this constant intrusion. Is this normal? Should I be worried about my privacy rights, or is this a common practice? Red flag or no?
