I spotted a cute cafe near 100 Jameson Ave, what's the area like?

I’m checking out 100 Jameson Ave and noticed a little cafe on the corner. I’m curious about what else is around for local shops and if transit is decent. Walking distance to parks would be a bonus too! Anyone know what the area feels like these days?
