Need advice on rental prices in Beaches this summer

I'm looking at a 1-bedroom in the Beaches going for $2,500 starting July. Is that reasonable given the current market? I’ve heard the area has high demand, but I want to make sure I’m not overpaying. Any insights from those familiar with this part of Toronto? Thanks!
