Why do landlords think repairs can wait? Frustrated!

I've asked my landlord multiple times to fix the heating, but it's still freezing in here. The dishwasher is broken and I’ve been washing everything by hand for weeks. It's becoming unbearable, and I can't keep living like this. With my lease ending soon, this stress is just too much!
