How to manage a 2 bedroom move from toronto to calgary with stuff overflow

I'm a student moving into a condo in King West, and my movers just left half my stuff in the corridor because it wouldn't fit in the tight elevator. I was quoted $1500 for the long-distance move, but now I'm stuck with boxes in the hallway and nowhere to put them! Help?
