Hidden charges from toronto movers that caught me off guard last week

I just moved from a rental house in Riverdale and the movers added a $200 fuel surcharge on the day of the move! I thought I had everything covered for my budget, but now I'm wondering if there are other hidden fees I should watch out for next time. Anyone else experience this?
