Is 1175 ellesmere rd good for easy ttc trips downtown?

I'm curious about living at 1175 Ellesmere Rd and how easy it is to get downtown. How's the TTC from this location? Are there bus and subway options nearby? Also, is the area safe for biking to transit stops? Just trying to figure out my daily commutes!
