How much do movers charge for a small apartment in the annex toronto

I'm moving to a basement apartment in the Annex soon and need to decide if I should hire movers or rent a truck myself. Anyone have recent experiences with costs? Trying to budget under $500 but also worried about lifting heavy furniture myself. What should I expect?
