How much do movers cost toronto for a danforth 1 bedroom unit

I'm trying to move out of my 1-bedroom in a Danforth walk-up by the end of the month, and I just got quotes ranging from $600 to $1,000. Why such a price gap? Are these moving companies really that different in service, or am I missing something? Any tips on how to negotiate the cost?
