How much do movers cost toronto for packing service and tips

I'm moving to Bloor West Village next week and really need to know if hiring movers for packing is worth it. The quotes I've received range from $300 to $600. I also forgot to transfer my hydro and gas, and now I'm worried about delays. Any advice on packing services or costs would be appreciated!
