How much do movers cost toronto for a 2 bedroom in markham

I’m moving from a 2-bedroom apartment in Markham to the downtown core next month, and I've been quoted between $700 to $1,200 for movers. Has anyone else experienced such a big range? I’m worried about surprise fees since my last move took way longer than expected and ended up costing way more.
