Why are the quotes from moving companies toronto so inconsistent

I got three quotes for my upcoming move from my rental in Riverdale, and they're all over the place—one's $800, the other $1,200! I'm moving a 2-bedroom with a lot of furniture. Are these quotes really just a negotiation tactic, or should I be concerned about hidden charges?
