How much do movers cost for a 1 bedroom apartment in downtown toronto

I’m moving from a 1 bedroom in the Distillery District to a condo in King West. Just got quotes ranging from $800 to $1,200! Is there a big difference between flat-rate and hourly movers? Also, how much should I tip a crew? Feeling a bit lost here.
