Considering 4 superior ave for easy access to transit options

I'm looking at 4 Superior Ave for its proximity to the subway and streetcar. How convenient is it for getting downtown? I love cycling but also want reliable TTC access. Any thoughts on bike lanes in the area or how the commute feels during rush hour?
