Shocked by Toronto's Insane Parking Costs for Apartments!

Has anyone else noticed how much parking costs in Toronto? Monthly parking fees are through the roof! How much for a parking spot? I’m wondering if street parking is a viable alternative. Is it even worth paying for parking in this city?
