Great transit vibes near 280 St George St for downtown work commute

I'm considering moving to 280 St George St and want to know how easy it is to get downtown for work. How's the subway access? Are there bike lanes around? I’m looking for a place that lets me ditch the car totally while still feeling connected to the city.
