How much do movers cost toronto for a downtown one bedroom condo

Just moved back downtown to a new build condo near Yonge and Eglinton, and I'm feeling overwhelmed. I got quotes ranging from $400 to $800, and it seems like nobody is clear on extra fees. Has anyone else faced surprise charges on move day? I really want to avoid scratched floors like my last move.
