How is Anyone Affording Rent in Toronto?

I'm genuinely baffled by how people afford to live in Toronto these days. What income do you need to even rent a decent apartment? It feels like only rich people can survive here now. I'm really confused about how others manage or if they’re just stretching their budgets to the breaking point.
