Looking at 1442 lawrence ave w—what’s it like for getting downtown?

I’m new to Toronto and considering 1442 Lawrence Ave W for my first place. How easy is it to use TTC from there to get downtown? I’m hoping for quick access to subways and buses, and any insight on bike lanes around the area would be super helpful!
